Tuitala Law - A Pacific Legal Services Firm
At Tuitala Law, we care about the needs of the Pacific people, who, to this day, remain some of the most disadvantaged communities when it comes to accessing legal services. Our team is committed to providing a comprehensive and culturally appropriate legal service to all Pacific, Tongan, and wider Polynesian people in New Zealand.
Our Pacific lawyers are passionate about serving Māori and Pacific people and have a goal to make the law more accessible to members of the community. With strong Pacific origins ourselves, we understand the community’s unique challenges and aim to provide legal services based on a solid appreciation for our shared heritage.
We also have a dedicated report-writing team that works with offenders from Tongan and Samoan backgrounds to provide cultural reports for the court. This helps the courts better understand our culture and family background. It allows the Judge to have more information about you, your background and upbringing.
Pacific organisations also need help with guidance and advice on their governance boards whether you are a church, cultural group or community organisation, we are here to help keep your organisation legal. This comes under the Charitable Trusts law and Incorporated Societies law which can see our pacific people get into trouble. We don’t want that to happen, so we are here to you keep your activities legal.
Our Pacific legal services include:
- Charitable and Incorporated Societies law
- Family law
- Civil law
- Immigration law
- Criminal law
- Employment law
- Dispute resolution
- And others
If you’re faced with a legal issue and need advice from a Pacific lawyer, our team can provide a professional and respectful legal service. We are committed to supporting you and your case.
